Some thoughts
...
the long
My Story.
I was born in Stockholm, Sweden and have since travelled back and forth between my two homes in Sweden and California. When I was growing up, I lived on a sailboat with my family when I was in California and a house under construction in Sweden. I graduated high school in June of 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic, which was an interesting experience, all things considered. I did so after only two years of study, through a dual-enrollment program at Cabrillo College and Oasis High School. I then went on to study abroad for a year in Sweden where I studied at the International IT College of Sweden in Stockholm, and became fluent in Swedish.
I have travelled extensively to a variety of countries besides Sweden. These countries include many in Northern and Central Europe, such as Spain, Italy, France and Denmark as well as a few countries closer to the United States. The most recent of which was Cuba, where I spent two weeks in Havana and the surrounding provinces in early March of 2020.
Upon returning from my year abroad, I was hired my the Cabrillo College STEM Center as a STEM tutor, and have been employed there since October of 2021. I am currently leading a workshop in multivariable calculus (Math 5C at Cabrillo College) in association with the Cabrillo College STEM Center, for the duration of the Spring 2022 semester.
This array of life experiences has grown into a variety of interests. I therefore implore you to explore these on my website.
What I write about
How that fits into the rest of it.
While I plan on using my website to display my work and as a platform to host my CV, I also plan to write short essays and guides, and effort to educate visitors. As these projects reflect what I am spending my time on, I would like to not restrict myself to a single subject matter. I invite you to join me on a range of projects and writings inspired by the different influences that I experience as I navigate my way through life.
Thank you,
– Cameron S. Jordan
